I have 25 years of experience in research and software development and 5 years in university teaching and many years in managing projects and teams. I have a broad range of skills from different industries and academia. My key skills are atmospheric sciences, remote sensing, numerical weather prediction and climate modelling, GIS applications, radiative transfer, processing and analysis of satellite observations, geo-spatial analysis, data analysis, image processing, and spectroscopy, in particular solar-terrestrial and lunar-terrestrial infra-red-spectroscopy. I have strong skills in software development in mathematically complex fields and am an advanced user of massively parallel supercomputing clusters (Linux, Cray, IBM). I have a doctorate degree in physics in the field of atmospheric remote sensing.
