South Australian AI company AICRAFT has announced a strategic partnership with CONTEC Space Optics (CSO) to provide ultra-fast edge computing modules designed to support CSO's state-of-the-art space telescopes.
CONTEC Space Optics, a leader in high-resolution Earth observation technologies, is renowned for developing cutting-edge optical payloads used in surveillance, reconnaissance, and Earth observation satellites.
As part of this collaboration, AICRAFT will enhance its Pulsar edge computing modules to provide high-speed data processing capabilities tailored to CSO's advanced optical systems. This will enable seamless data management and real-time analysis directly onboard satellites, significantly improving the speed and efficiency of critical missions. The two modules ordered will be responsible for managing large volumes of imaging data, drastically reducing latency and ensuring near-instantaneous insights.
