State Space Agency of Ukraine
The State Space Agency of Ukraine (SSAU) is the Ukrainian government agency responsible for space policy and programs.
It is a civil body in charge of co-ordinating the efforts of government installations, research, and industrial companies (mostly state-owned). Several space-related institutes and industries are directly subordinated to the SSAU.
Zenit (rocket family)
Zenit is a family of space launch vehicles designed by the Yuzhnoye Design Bureau of Ukraine.
Zenit was built in the 1980s for two purposes: as a liquid rocket booster for the Energia rocket and, equipped with a second stage, as a stand-alone rocket. Moreover Zenit was planned to take over manned spaceship launches from Soyuz, but these plans were abandoned after the fall of the Soviet Union.
Zenit-3SL is launched by the Sea Launch consortium's floating launch platform in the Pacific Ocean and Zenit-2 is launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.
Yuzhmash
A.M. Makarov Yuzhny Machine-Building Plant, or PA Yuzhmash is a Ukrainian manufacturer of space rockets, agricultural equipment, buses, trolley buses and trams, wind turbines, and satellites.
It is a large state-owned company located in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine.
Over 65 years, four-generation of carrier rockets and several types of spacecraft have been created.
uzhmash made an ecological two-stage carrier rocket under the title «Zenit» to realize the international «Sea Launch» project.
Yuzhnoye Design Bureau
Yuzhnoye Design Bureau, located in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine, is a designer of satellites and rockets, and formerly of Soviet intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs).
The company is in close co-operation with the Yuzhmash manufacturer company also situated in Dnipropetrovsk. Yuzhmash is the main manufacturer of the models designed by Yuzhnoye Design Bureau.

SunSpace has its origins in the SUNSAT satellite programme. SUNSAT, South Africa's first satellite, was developed locally, and launched in 1999 by the American space agency NASA.

Microsat Systems Canada Inc. (MSCI) is a privately held Canadian corporation applying dynamics and control technology in the space market for reaction wheels, rate measurement units and complete microsatellites. Formerly the space division of Dynacon Inc., MSCI has been the premiere builder of microsatellites in Canada for over a decade.
MSCI is providing the design, development and delivery of cost-effective, adaptable Multi Mission Microsatellite Buses capable of hosting a wide variety of remote sensing, communications, scientific and military payloads. MSCI is active as well in systems engineering analysis, the development of sophisticated, cost-effective attitude control system solutions and their implementation into flight hardware and software.
