SatixFy Communications (NYSE American: SATX) has been awarded GBP 1.8 million (approximately $2.3 million) by the UK Space Agency through its C-LEO program. The funding is designated for the creation of an advanced software suite for digital satellite payloads.

The investment will facilitate the development of cutting-edge regenerative and digital beamforming software to meet the rising demand for software-defined satellite payloads. This software aims to enable real-time control and monitoring of LEO, MEO, and GEO payloads, supporting DVB, 3GPP, and additional waveform protocols. Its implementation is expected to be crucial in advancing adaptable and intelligent satellite networks.

A core focus of the project is ensuring seamless integration with SatixFy's high-performance Sx4000 regenerative processor ASIC and Prime 2.0 digital beamforming integrated circuits. These technologies, combined with intelligent software, will allow satellite operators to deploy a complete end-to-end solution, improving efficiency, adaptability, and overall performance while reducing integration complexity and accelerating deployment timelines.

"The UK Space Agency's grant is a strong endorsement of SatixFy's technological expertise," stated Nir Barkan, Chief Executive Officer of SatixFy. "Our experience in satellite communications, digital signal processing, and radiation-hardened semiconductor development positions us well to deliver comprehensive solutions that extend beyond hardware into software-driven optimization. The completion of this software, led by SatixFy UK, marks a strategic expansion of our portfolio, bridging the gap between advanced processing hardware and intelligent software to offer a fully integrated, next-generation satellite communication platform."

Dr. Craig Brown, Investment Director at the UK Space Agency, highlighted the significance of the project, stating, "Satellite mega-constellations are revolutionizing global connectivity, particularly in sectors like maritime and aviation. Our collaboration with SatixFy will lead to the development of adaptable and flexible software to meet the evolving needs of satellite communications. This initiative plays a crucial role in maintaining the UK's competitive edge in the rapidly growing global space industry."
