BlackSky Technology Inc. (NYSE: BKSY) has been named as a key vendor by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) for its $200 million Luno B commercial data indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract.

The Luno B initiative is designed to provide the national security sector with rapid access to high-quality commercial geospatial intelligence (GEOINT). The contract supports NGA's efforts to advance the GEOINT enterprise by integrating artificial intelligence capabilities and offering critical decision-making advantages to military personnel, policymakers, and other mission stakeholders.

Under the terms of this contract, GEOINT users will gain access to comprehensive data and analytical services. These tools will enhance analytical assessments by offering detailed insights into global economic, environmental, and geopolitical dynamics, as well as tracking activities that are illegal, unregulated, or unreported.

The Luno B contract spans a five-year base ordering period with a total ceiling value of $200 million. Vendors, including BlackSky, will engage in open competition for future delivery orders issued under this agreement.
