Siemens has introduced Siemens for Startups, a strategic initiative designed to support early-stage companies in the engineering and manufacturing sectors. Announced at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, this program aims to foster innovation, streamline development, and expedite scaling by offering access to Siemens' software, hardware, and venture-related services at reduced costs.

Siemens for Startups is structured around three core pillars:
Connect
The program facilitates startups' entry into the Siemens Xcelerator marketplace, granting them access to a global go-to-market channel and the broader Siemens Xcelerator ecosystem.
Collaborate
Siemens will act as both an early customer and co-developer, engaging with startups through venture clienting. This collaborative approach provides startups with initial revenue streams while granting Siemens access to cutting-edge capabilities and services.
Empower
The initiative offers startups targeted access to Siemens Xcelerator's suite of software tools, tailored to their specific needs in product and software development.
Partnership with AWS
Siemens is integrating its program with AWS's Startup initiative to further accelerate innovation and growth. This partnership leverages Siemens' industrial software capabilities alongside AWS's scalable cloud infrastructure to help startups bring ideas to market quickly."Collaborating with Siemens allows us to extend the capabilities of our AWS Startup program to a new generation of innovators in the engineering and manufacturing space," said Jon Jones, Vice President and Global Head Startups at AWS. Qualifying startups will benefit from AWS credits, business development resources, and access to the AWS Activate program, complementing Siemens' tools for design, simulation, and manufacturing.

At CES 2025, Siemens showcased several startups that are leveraging its technologies to scale operations:Arkisys: Developing space-based platforms for technology hosting, satellite integration, assembly, and resupply.
Dirac: Providing automated manufacturing workflow software, with BuildOS delivering physics-based simulations and 3D assembly-ready work instructions directly from CAD models.
EthonAI: Offering a manufacturing analytics system to improve KPIs such as quality, throughput, and sustainability.
Haddy: Revolutionizing furniture manufacturing through 3D printing and robotics, creating sustainable products with local micro-factories.
Instrumental Technology: Automating failure analysis in electronics manufacturing, expediting new product development and improving production yields.
