Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (Nasdaq: GILT, TASE: GILT) has secured approximately $5 million in new contracts from several U.S.-based defense entities. The orders encompass advanced satellite communications (SATCOM) technology and support services designed to enhance the connectivity and functionality essential to defense operations globally. Delivery of these orders is scheduled for the upcoming months.

The contract includes a range of equipment and services, such as X, Ku, and Ka-band Block Upconverters (BUCs) integrated into Communications-on-the-Move (COTM) systems, as well as testing, evaluation, repairs, system upgrades, engineering services, and field support. These resources are tailored to ensure reliable, high-performance communications across a wide spectrum of challenging operational conditions.

"We are honored to support U.S. defense organizations with our cutting-edge SATCOM technology and full suite of essential services that meet the stringent requirements of mission-critical defense operations," said Nicole Robinson, President of DataPath. "These orders reflect the confidence our defense customers place in our comprehensive approach to SATCOM connectivity, ensuring they remain connected in even the most challenging environments."
