Hanwha Phasor, a satellite communications innovator based in the UK, has announced the upcoming release of its new land-based antenna, the Phasor L3300B, set to hit the market in Q3 of 2024. Engineered for both commercial and military applications, the Phasor L3300B represents a significant advancement in active electronically steered antenna (AESA) technology.

This launch signifies the debut of Hanwha Phasor's land antenna solution for commercial and defense markets, promising seamless communications even in the most challenging conditions. This capability is achieved through the antenna's unique feature of dual simultaneous receive channels, enabling it to establish connections with new satellites without disrupting existing links.

In a world facing increasing geopolitical tensions and natural disasters, the demand for reliable communication systems has escalated. The Phasor L3300B addresses this critical need by offering unparalleled connectivity across both Geostationary Satellites (GEO) and Low Earth Orbiting (LEO) constellations, supporting Ku-Band frequencies and compliance with OneWeb standards, ensuring compatibility with leading service providers.

Designed with a compact, flat-panel structure, the Phasor L3300B weighs just 30kg and boasts a thickness of only 150mm, making it the premier choice for armed forces and first responders working in adverse and high-risk environments. Hanwha Phasor's latest innovation is poised to maintain essential communication links, thereby enhancing the safety and operational efficiency of military personnel and emergency responders.

The unveiling of the Phasor L3300B at Satellite 2024 marks a new milestone for Hanwha Phasor, following a series of strategic partnerships, including collaborations with Lufthansa Technik and an agreement with OneWeb to integrate the antenna as a User Terminal in their network.

Michael Young, Vice President of Business Development at Hanwha Phasor, expressed his enthusiasm about the launch, stating, "The introduction of the Phasor L3300B marks a significant achievement for our team. We are excited to showcase the unparalleled capabilities of our antenna to both existing and prospective clients, ensuring their communication needs are met without compromise."
