In a strategic move to bolster its IoT services, Globalsat Group, a leading provider of mobile and satellite services, has entered into a collaboration with Myriota, a trailblazer in satellite IoT communications. This partnership aims to deploy Myriota's global data messaging service, renowned for its efficiency in long-term asset tracking and telemetry across various sectors including agriculture, transport/logistics, utilities, mining, and environmental monitoring.
Since its inception in 1999, Globalsat Group has been instrumental in providing critical satellite voice, data, M2M/IoT, software, and hardware solutions across the Americas. Its services are vital in scenarios where conventional connectivity fails or in extreme conditions that demand reliable communication.
The newly formed alliance will see Globalsat Group integrating Myriota's services and hardware into its offerings across all regions it operates in, thereby expanding its reach and enhancing the connectivity solutions available to businesses and governments.
J. Alberto Palacios, CEO of Globalsat, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting the significance of Myriota's IoT solutions in emerging markets and their potential to drive operational efficiencies and safety. He also emphasized the importance of Myriota's security features, noting their relevance in an era where digital security is paramount.
Further cementing their partnership, Myriota will grant Globalsat early access to hardware kits for internal testing and strategy development, ensuring that innovative IoT solutions are rolled out effectively in 2024.
