With 30+ years as an independent consultant and mentor, Mr Torres is specialized in business development, project management, training and outreach actions in the fields of IT and the NewSpace industry.
Active in the Space sector for years Mr Torres is currently developing the European strategy to some European and Latin American startups and working as an expert evaluator of European R&D proposals and projects.
In addition, he is volunteering as Vice President for Education and Coordination for the UN founded World Space Week Association which promotes worldwide annual events spreading the benefits of Space sciences to humanity.
He's is currently involved also in several activities fostering space entrepreneurship like with the Astropreneurs Program, the NewSpace Community the European Satellite Navigation Competition (Galileo Masters), the Copernicus Accelerator Programme, SpaceUp events and other STEM promotion initiatives.
