On September 14, 2017, during its final orbit around Saturn, the Cassini space probe observed the ultraviolet auroral imprint of the moon Enceladus in the atmosphere of its host planet. This detection, only the second in 13 years of observations in orbit, was analyzed simultaneously by two teams of researchers, including one at the Paris-PSL Observatory. It reveals an atypical type of planet-sat
