Satellogic Inc. (NASDAQ: SATL), known for its high-resolution Earth Observation (EO) capabilities, has announced a partnership with O.N.E. Amazon aimed at environmental and investment sustainability through innovative conservation technologies. The collaboration, revealed on Earth Day, highlights the role of advanced geospatial sciences in environmental health and preservation.

The partnership focuses on the development of the Internet of Forests (IoF), an extensive sensor network coupled with machine learning to monitor vital environmental indicators within the Amazon rainforest.

"Monitoring our planet to address critical global issues is our core mission at Satellogic. Supporting the O.N.E. Amazon project's Internet of Forests aligns with our goals, and we're enthusiastic about this collaboration," stated Matt Tirman, President of Satellogic. "Our satellites provide daily, high-resolution images of any location on Earth, enhancing our ability to respond swiftly to environmental changes."

Matt Tirman will also discuss Satellogic's role in monitoring the Amazon rainforest at an event at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, D.C.

"Assessing the Amazon's intricate environmental and social dynamics is essential for its digital representation. Our leading-edge mapping technology is crucial for the success of the Internet of Forests," explained Rodrigo Veloso, CEO of O.N.E. Amazon. "The IoF will provide accurate environmental and social data, support advanced data storage and analysis, and empower local communities with greater insight into the impacts on their natural surroundings."
