NASA, ESA’s International Space Station partner, will host two press conferences on 30 January to discuss the upcoming International Space Station crew rotation. This rotation will see ESA astronaut Sophie Adenot launch to space for her first mission, εpsilon.
The crew of four, which also includes NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, as well as Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrei Fedyaev, will launch from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida, USA. The crew will travel to the International Space Station aboard a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft, propelled into orbit by a Falcon 9 rocket.
Their mission marks the 12th crew rotation flight under NASA’s Commercial Crew Program and is planned to last approximately nine months. Launch is currently scheduled no earlier than Sunday, 15 February.
