The European Union’s Chemicals Regulation, REACH, is one of the most comprehensive legislative frameworks for chemical safety worldwide. Designed to protect human health and the environment from hazardous substances, REACH also poses unique challenges for the space sector where exemptions are rare and obsolescence risks are high.

ESA REACH Tool webinar: 19 February 2026, 14:00–16:00 CET

A free REACH tool developed by ESA and partners is available online to any European organisation registered with ESA and working in the space industrial supply chain, at the discretion of the ESA REACH Officer. The tool enables users to search substances and materials, and create materials portfolios.

This webinar will follow on from the REACH awareness session on 28 January. It is strongly recommended to attend that session first if you are unfamiliar with the EU chemicals regulation, REACH.
